The club expressed deep regret over the incident, stating that Jiang’s behavior hurt the relationship between the team and its fans and damaged the club’s interests and image. In an apology to all Shenzhen fans and those who care about the club’s development, Shenzhen Peng City announced the following decisions:
1. Effective immediately, Jiang Zhipeng is stripped of his first-team captaincy, with the possibility of further disciplinary action being reserved.
2. The club will invite affected fans to the team base for open and friendly communication, aiming to resolve differences and rebuild unity, while fostering a respectful and civilized fan culture.
