Alessio Lisci did not hide his frustration with the officiating after Osasuna’s 1-2 loss to Atlético Madrid, focusing his criticism on a potential second yellow card for Marc Pubill. “Pubill’s red card is absolutely clear. You can’t not show it. It’s an error that heavily conditions the match. We were 0-1 up, and he generates the 0-2. The added time is unacceptable. These are mistakes you can’t have at this level. The referee didn’t do it maliciously, but it’s not acceptable,” Lisci said.

Regarding the added time, he added, “I think the first penalty had a bit of inertia from Javi, but it’s not crazy that it was called, and ours can be overturned. The serious problem is Pubill’s second yellow and the added time, which is unacceptable. Budimir’s situation was not a penalty.”
On efficiency, Lisci commented, “I think it was a matter of efficiency. The team gave everything, set a tremendous pace, and had many chances.”
Looking ahead to the match against Espanyol, he stated, “Now it’s clear that the weekend is a battle. All together. Everyone must show what Osasuna is.”
